Thousands "SOLV IT" With SOLV and PGE for Earth Day!

Volunteers at Tillamook State Forest brave the winter-like weather. The wild winter-like forecast didn’t deter 3,155 volunteers from participating in the 19th annual SOLV IT Earth Day Event held Saturday, April 19th. The event took place at 110 project sites spanning Clackamas, Columbia, Multnomah, Washington and Yamhill Counties. Read more

The next SOLV IT will take place on April 18, 2009.SOLV IT, presented by Portland General Electric, focuses on cleaning illegal dumpsites, beautifying and enhancing neighborhoods and public spaces, restoring watersheds, and much more. In the past nineteen years, SOLV IT volunteers have removed more than 6,700 tons of debris from illegal dumpsites, neighborhoods and natural areas.
